Contemporary Gandhi - A course on Gandhian Perspective starts 30th Jan...

Recent times we have been asked to provide a Gandhian perspective on several contemporary issues. Gandhians and Gandhian institutions in India largely are absent in the public domain. Gandhi's political, social and economic ideas being referred in public spaces is referred only in an obscure or tangential manner by the dominant left and right.

So, here is an offering. Make this February a reflective one using the prism of Gandhi to reflect on the contemporary issues. Job insecurity, climate anxiety, lifestyle induced diseases, lack of freedom to express oneself,  consolidating inequity, ever present social discord, anger and frustration all around, depression and stress, health priorities not matching professional demands, never being able to catch-up, information overload, unable to relax, ...pick your contemporary issue. Everything that is personal is connected to how our polity, society, and economy is organized around us. We chose to walk this path unknowingly because no one warned of the traps.

Here is an opportunity to examine many of these issues over a month. Two hour dialogues each week two 1-hour sessions.  Do join. Use the QR code below to register or use the link here - Contemporary Gandhi Online Course Sign-Up – Fill in form
