Textbook content analysis, 2003-04

With very eminent and over-politicised debate in the mainstream on the text book content of various text book boards, the actual debate on how the country and everything this country has is presented to the students is lost. Along with Society for Integrated Development of the Himalayas (SIDH), Mussoorie, Samanvaya has analysed the text books of 4 Boards and has put together a critical analysis. Presentations and discussions based on this analysis have been done and since then the National Curriculum Draft change has brought about modifications in the textbook content.
