Samanvaya provided consultancy for evolving a long term community driven conservation programme for the tsunami affected areas to be executed by Covenant Centre for Development, a development organisation based in Madurai. As part of its consulting efforts, Samanvaya has helped in evolving strategies, periodically reviewed the same and also documented the learning of the field based teams working of the districts of Nagapattinam and Kanyakumari in Tamilnadu in 2005.
